Maria Amélia Braga

Maria Amélia Braga has solid experience in the regulatory area, with a focus on the Oil and Natural Gas market, working on particular contracts in the sector, such as JOA, Lifting Agreement, Offshore Drilling Contract, as well as service contracts in general.

For nine years, she worked as a Legal Consultant at Pré-Sal Petróleo S.A., participating in procedures related to the management of Production Sharing Contracts, the commercialization of Federal Government Oil and Natural Gas, Individualization of Production and Co-participation Agreements.

He has a good interface with government bodies, including the MME, the ANP and the TCU.

In addition, he has know-how in the administrative area, mainly in the context of bidding procedures, including those governed by Laws No. 13.303/2016, No. 14.133/2021 and No. 8.666/1993.

Education

Graduated in Law from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), with specializations in Tax Law from the Brazilian Institute of Tax Studies (IBET) and Litigation from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV), in addition to having taken several international courses related to the Oil and Natural Gas sector.
